Just over the weekend, we had dinner at
Old School Delights at Thomson. This place turned out to be pretty awesome because several surprises were in stored for us the moment we sat down. We loved that they served tuckshop kind of food, we got to write our food order on a mini whiteboard and more importantly, Nate got to play with pencil, paper and old school country erasers!! Daddy was very happily demonstrating to Nate how we can play with the erasers (by flicking one on top of the other) and all Nate achieved was to put the eraser into his mouth.. Haha!! We also experienced a power blackout in the middle of our dinner, must say that Nate did pretty well in the pitch black by not making a fuss as he was probably too fascinated with the candles lit by the staff for each table.
The highlight of the night was Sarah! She is about Nate's age, at most 1-2 months difference, and sitting just 2 tables away. She came over to play with Nate towards the end of our meal. They started by shaking hands, high five-ing each other and played peekaboo. As we were leaving, we carried Nate down from the high chair and Sarah came over to hug him! Awwwww.......sweet child of mine!
